Kiriko series coffee beaker. Thrown in clay mix of stoneware and terracotta. There are two colour variations: grey black or white. 

The pattern on the underneath of the pot is curved with chisels by hand. 

H8cm x W7cm

Mizuyo uses a variety of techniques for her ceramic work including carving with chisels, which is a popular technique in Japan called Kezuri. She is interested in combining the cultures of English and Japanese to create contemporary ceramic objects.
