Payment and shipping

Payment

You can pay securely and easily using a debit or credit card, or through Paypal.

Please note when paying with PayPal, we will use the delivery details as specified through this website and your confirmation email from us, not Paypal which can occasionally be different.

We ship worldwide. All payents are processed in £ (pounds sterling) and will be converted to your own currency by your card company or PayPal after you have made the payment through our website. You can use the website www.xe.com to get an estimated price. Please bear in mund that your card provider may work to a different exchange rate.

Customers outside Europe may be charged a customs fee. Additional charges must be paid by the customer. Atelier 51 has no control over these charges and bears no responsibility.

 

Shipping

We calculate our shipping fee by size and weight of the item. 

Orders are normally dispatched between 1-3 business days using UK Royal Mail post either First Class, Signed for or Signed & Tracked, depending on what you select at checkout.

UK orders are usually delivered within 3 days of shipping.

International orders within Europe should take 3-5 days to arrive but please allow up to 3 weeks for the arrival.

 Outside Europe normally takes between 5-7 days but please allow 3-4 weeks.

Get in touch if the order is for a present, and you would like a special message written or if you need a speedy delivery or change of address!

All deliveries for the UK,Europe and Rest of the World usually shipped on the next Friday from when your order is placed.

Order before 12noon for next day delivery via UPS or Royal Mail Special Delivery. Total cost of delivery £9.95. 
Please contact us before you order to ensure we are able to dispatch your purchases.
Only availablMonday-Saturday and for UK customers only. Orders placed on a Friday may not arrive until Monday.

We will do our best to ensure that you receive your goods within the estimated time for each product [note: delivery dates are approximate only.]  Goods are subject to availability, however, and we cannot be held responsible for costs incurred as a result of delays outside of our control.

 

RETurns

We hope you enjoy having your handmade pieces as much as the creators enjoy designing / making them. If for any reason you have an issue or would like an exchange/ refund please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order.

If you wish to make a return you must inform us in writing by email within 14 days of delivery. When making a return you must send the item using recorded delivery and with appropriate insurance as we can not be held responsible for items missing or damaged.

You will be given the option of an exchange or we will refund your payment minus postage. We aim to reimburse you within 7 working days. Refunds will only be issued if item is returned in unused/same condition it was delivered in. Refunds can only be made to your original payment method (Paypal or credit/debit card).

Items made to order are not subject to returns. For example, any artwork made or printed to order will be non returnable. Earrings are non returnable for hygiene reasons.

We do not refund postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Please make sure that you obtain ‘proof of postage’ from the Post Office when returning anything to us.

If you use the product or if the maker's packaging is damaged, unfortunately we cannot provide a refund.

Due to monitor settings colours may vary slightly from the colours you see on screen. Handmade items such as textiles may have small variations in colour or pattern which we cannot be held responsible for. However if large variations occur we will advise before shipment.

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGED ITEMS

If any item arrives damaged please contact us immediately and keep the item and packaging used. A representative from our carriers may contact you as part of the claim process or we may need the damaged item to be returned to us. A replacement will be dispatched after we have either received the damaged item or after advice from our carriers. Please wait for our instructions before returning the item to us.

For faulty items (not breakages) please return the goods to us within 7 days with receipt. We will offer a replacement or refund the cost of the item.


LOST ITEMS

If your item does not arrive within 7 days of dispatch for UK and 14 days for rest of the world, please contact us in case delivery has been delayed. .

Items returned to us by the postal service marked as not called for or unclaimed by the receiver will require additional postage costs to be paid before we can resend.

We cannot be held responsible if a parcel has gone missing due to the postal address being filled in incorrectly or missing important information. However, if we notice the address is incomplete, we will contact you before dispatch.

Risk of loss passes to you once the item has been passed to the carrier (Royal Mail, Hermes or UPS).
