More about the tea towel:

Hester the Hare is a moonlit hare to one side, and leaps along under the sun on the other. Hester is a silkscreen design on 100% cotton. It can simply be used as a tea-towel/dish -towel (wash at 40 degrees centigrade) or following the easy printed instructions Hester can be cut out, sewn and stuffed to make a bright, attractive child's toy or cushion. Alternatively Hester can be filled with dried beans, pulses or sand to make a door stop. Her stuffed height from base to tip of tail is about 7.8inches (20 cms ) The tea-towel is 32 inches x 19inches (81cms x 48 cms).

More about the poem book:

The switching on of festive lights in towns and villages across the land announces the fact that Christmas is fast approaching. It also marks the start of real winter.

This delightful selection contains ten brand new poems by leading contemporary poets and comes with a limited edition poem postcard. We find light in all its many shapes and forms – from the ‘glittering heart’ of Paris in December to the glint of a skater’s boot on a frozen lake or the sugary shine of a child’s candy cane. And worlds away from the hubbub and dazzle, there’s the silent watcher at the window who:

“… sits on the low sill, half-
dreaming, watching the lights churn
over the hills, whisky gold in her glass.”

from ‘Northern Lights’ by Nancy Campbell

The special postcard features the poem ‘This little town’ by Rob Miles.

Poems by Nancy Campbell, Niall Campbell, John Clegg, Tony Curtis, Katherine Gallagher, Stephen Keeler, Zaffar Kunial, Hannah Lowe, Kim Moore and Amali Rodrigo.
